The 24th Karate World Championships are Karate's biggest event. Held every two years, the Karate Senior World Championships gather athletes from over a hundred countries in a thrilling quest to sports greatness.
The tournament will take place at the WiZink Center sports hall in Madrid (Spain).
The competition acquires even greater importance since the Spanish capital will host the last World Championships to be held before Karate's debut at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
The 24th World Championships will be the competition providing the highest number of points for athletes to qualify for the Olympic Games.
The appeal of this spectacular sport is showcased in its three modalities: the action and speed of Kumite, the power and spirit of Kata, and the courage and resilience of Para-Karate.

Ta Quali , MALTA 2018
Cea de-a 10 a editie a Campionatului European de Karate WUKF All Ages si prima editie a Cupei Mondiale de KOBUDO WUKF isi va deschide portile in data de 24.10.2018 in complexul Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre din Malta, zona Ta Quali.
Sportivi din 26 de tari , 56 de federatii europene afiliate la Federatia Mondiala WUKF isi vor disputa in intervalul 24-28.10.2018 mult ravnitele titluri de campioni europeni.
Spre surprinderea organizatorilor cat si a conducerii federatiei mondiale peste 250 de sportivi din 16 tari din 4 continente si-au aratat dorinta de a participa la prima editie a Cupei Mondiale de KOBUDO WUKF. Astfel , alaturi de cei peste 1251 de sportivi inscrisi, cu o săptămână înainte de începerea competiției, la Campionatul European de Karate WUKF lista participantilor trece de 1500. Cel puțin încă 300-350 de sportivi sunt așteptați sa se înscrie în zilele următoare.
