Dear Sport Family Members,
Dear Sport Lovers,
Courage is one of the basic principles of sport and one of humanity’s important virtues.
When I emigrated from communism in 1988, I risked my life and my family’s life in order to live in a free and democratic world, where one of the supreme values is the freedom of speech and of opinion.
In this past month it was proven that in the free world there are, still, higher structures where the supreme value is SILENCE!
Given that this is the answer that I received to my declaration in Sochi and to the proposal of the 20 points agenda, regarding the reforms and benefits requested for the sport and the athletes, I decided to withdraw from SportAccord and the IOC Coordination Committee for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, thanking all those who supported me and believed and still believe in me, in the values I proposed and I defend!
One important principle of the sport that consecrated me is HONOR. I withdraw with honor and for the honor of sport, its credibility in society, and I hope that one day sport becomes a completely transparent system, a moral code and a model for society.

Four non-Olympic sports join badminton in suspending ties with SportAccord
Karate, korfball, orienteering and motor racing have become the first non-Olympic sports to officially register discontent with SportAccord today, while badminton has become the 22nd Olympic one to disaffiliate.
In a statement, the Badminton World Federation (BWF) revealed the decision to suspend its membership will be with "immediate effect until further notice".
A letter has been sent by BWF President Poul-Erik Høyer to SportAccord counterpart Marius Vizer informing him of the decision.
It follows BWF’s "strong disagreement" with Vizer’s controversial comments about the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and IOC President Thomas Bach at the annual SportAccord Convention last month.

Francesco Ricci Bitti, president of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) has responded to Marius Vizer regarding his newly proposed agenda and call for dialogue asking the SportAccord president to refrain from speaking in the name of International Federations, who no longer feel represented by umbrella association.
Following his barbed outburst at the IOC in Sochi after which key federations suspended their membership with SportAccord, Vizer has reached out to Bach and Ricci Bitti and the IF's, requesting what he called constructive dialogue and proposing his own 20-point agenda to match that of Bach's.

O agendă detaliată pentru întâlnirea propusă cu președintele CIO, Thomas Bach a fost trimis peste de președintele SportAccord Marius Vizer L. astăzi, împreună cu o scrisoare listarea răspunsul la ultima comunicare a primit din partea președintelui CIO. Enumerate în continuare este agenda detaliată 20 de puncte comunică Președintelui IOC, președintele ASOIF Francesco Ricci Bitti și președinții tuturor federațiilor internaționale.
PREȘEDINTELE VIZER- SPORT REFORM AGENDA:
1. Creșterea veniturilor modelul de partajare cu federații internaționale de la nivelurile actuale până la 25% din veniturile Olimpice.
2. Din această sumă, 5% să fie plătite direct la federațiile naționale.
3. Stabilirea unui fond asistent al sportivului care va acționa ca un sistem de pensii pentru toate olimpicii pe baza unor criterii de calificare atent proiectate.
4. Introducerea de premii în bani pentru sportivii de la Jocurile Olimpice.
5. Reguli clare, criterii și principii pentru:
IOC membru
Sistemul IOC
Selecție și adăugarea de sport și discipline în cadrul Programului Olimpice
Proces de recunoaștere pentru toate FI
6. Independența deplină a Curții de Arbitraj pentru Sport (CAS).
7 Canalul TV Olimpic să fie deținut 50% direct de către toate FI.
8. Nici o discriminare față de sporturile care nu sunt cuprinse în programul olimpic.
9. Includerea tuturor sporturilor non-Olimpice la toate programele de dezvoltare și oportunitățile inițiate de CIO.
